La pointe étant polarisée négativement, aprés une premiére commutation pour une tension de formation UF qui augmente avec l'épaisseur de Se, la tension de seuil Us se stabilise aprés quelques cycles. Us est indépendante de l'épaisseur de Se mais est fonction de la tension inverse maximale et de la fréquence. Le cycle ( I-U ) est expliqé en terme de diffusion d'ions Ag+. A UF correspond la formation de dendrites riches en Ag à travers Se, puis à Us correspond une zone vidée de porteurs à l'interface PSe lors du passage en polarité inverse. While (I–U) characteristics of metal–selenium–test needle (MSeP) show instable switchings, those of Ag2SeSeP structures are reproducible. With the test needle negatively biased, after a first commutation at the formation voltage UF (UF increases with the selenium thickness), the threshold voltage US is stabilized after some switchings. US is independent of the selenium thickness but US increases with the maximum reverse applied voltage and with the frequency. This is explained by Ag+ ion diffusion." @default.
