- W2021947287 abstract "The theoretical formula of McMillan, modified via the multiple-scattering theory by Gomersall and Gyorffy, has been very successful in computing the electron—phonon coupling constant (λ) and the transition temperature (Tc) of many superconducting elements and compounds. For disordered solids, such as substitutional alloys, however, this theory fails because of the breakdown of the translational symmetry used in the multiple-scattering theory. Under these conditions the problem can still be solved if the t-matrix is averaged in the random phase approximation (average T-matrix approximation). Gomersall and Gyorffy's expression is reformulated for λ in the random phase approximation. This theory is applied to calculate λ and Tc of the binary substitutional NbMo alloy system at different concentrations. The results appear to be in fair agreement with experiments. Die für die Vielfachstreutheorie von Gomersall und Gyorffy modifizierte theoretische Formel von McMillan war sehr erfolgreich bei der Berechnung der Elektronen—Phononen-Kopplungskonstante (λ) und der Übergangstemperatur (Tc) für eine Reihe von supraleitenden Elementen und Verbindungen. Für fehlgeordnete Festkörper, wie zum Beispiel Substitutionslegierungen, liefert jedoch diese Theorie auf Grund des Wegfalls der Translationssymmetrie, die in der Vielfachstreutheorie benutzt wird, falsche Ergebnisse. Unter diesen Bedingungen läßt sich das Problem noch lösen, wenn die t-Matrix in der random-phase-Näherung gemittelt wird (Näherung der gemittelten T-Matrix). Gomersalls und Gyorffys Ausdruck wird für λ in der random-phase-Näherung reformuliert. Diese Theorie wird benutzt, um λ und Tc des binären substitutionellen NbMo-Legierungssystems bei verschiedenen Konzentrationen zu berechnen.
