The host lattice p-d gap is increased by 0.4 eV relative to that measured in earlier work on unintercalated TaS2, as a result of the charge transfer. Structure seen in photoemission at photon energies >or approximately=35 eV may be understood in terms of the many-electron aspects of photoemission from the localised intercalant 3d levels." @default.
