- W4286249781 abstract "To explore the energy loss caused by the elbow in the pneumatic transportation of stiff shotcrete, the numerical simulation of the gas-solid flow of stiff shotcrete was carried out based on CFD-DEM. The accuracy of the simulation results was verified by on-site test and parameter calibration. The relationship between air velocity, feed rate, R/D ratio, energy loss caused by elbow and maximum wear rate was studied by response surface methodology. A second-order response surface model between the energy loss caused by elbow and each factor was established. The relationship between the maximum wear rate and each factor was obtained. The effects of air velocity, feeding rate, and R/D ratio on the spatial position and velocity distribution of particles were revealed. This paper can provide a reference for the pneumatic conveying of shotcrete." @default.
