- W4383896503 abstract "The main objective of this study is to investigate the synchronization of nonautonomous dynamical systems. Specifically, we aim to examine how externally driven forces, in terms of their amplitude and frequency, impact this synchronization phenomenon. To achieve this, we consider two popular neuron models, namely Hindmarsh Rose neuron model and Morris-Leccar neuron model, in both three and four dimensions. Our results indicate that Hindmarsh Rose and Morris-Leccar exhibit similar synchronization phenomena in three-dimensional neuron models. We observe that an increase in the amplitude of the driven force leads to a decrease in the required coupling strength for synchronization. On the other hand, increasing the frequency leads to synchronization with larger coupling strengths. However, when we examine the same neuron models in four dimensions, the synchronization scenario differs from the three-dimensional case in both Hindmarsh Rose and Morris-Leccar models." @default.
