- cod;;1:16-cv-00671_de288 RegisterActionDescriptionText "ORDER: This matter is before the Court on Plaintiffs', except Plaintiff 5F6D7FE, counsel's motion to quash a subpoena requesting "[a]ny signature pages to the parties' Settlement Agreement and Release signed by Maria Simon" 287 . Plaintiffs advise that Plaintiff 5F6D7FE objects to the motion while Defendants object in part to the motion. As the parties are aware, this case is administratively closed. And, as the Tenth Circuit has stated, an administrative closure is "the practical equivalent of a stay." Quinn v. CGR, 828 F.2d 1463, 1465 n.2 (10th Cir. 1987). Thus, absent leave of the Court the parties are not permitted to conduct discovery. For this reason, the motion 287 is GRANTED. The Court is aware, however, that a motion to lift the administrative closure is pending and the issue will arise again. Thus, the parties may raise the issue again once the case is reopened, and should be prepared to fully address forthwith the issue raised in the motion. SO ORDERED by Judge Raymond P. Moore on 4/8/2019. (Text Only Entry ) (rmsec ) (Entered: 04/08/2019)" @default.
