- ilcd;;1:17-cv-01237_de44 RegisterActionDescriptionText "TEXT ORDER entered by Chief Judge James E. Shadid on 9/13/2018. Plaintiff has filed a document entitled "Emergency Motion to Inform." 33 . Plaintiff says the Warden and Assistant Wardens have "put a hit on my head and life for filing this complaint." (Plain. Mot., p. 1). Plaintiff claims on September 11, 2018, several officers assaulted him and beat him until he blacked out. Plaintiff says he was then denied medical attention and his crutches. Plaintiff also says the Court ordered defense counsel to provide a copy of his last motion to inform to internal affairs, but no one from internal affairs has contacted him. See August 15, 2018 Text Order. Defendants did file a response noting a copy of the Court's order and Plaintiff's claims were provided to internal affairs and the litigation coordinator. 28 . The Court notes pro bono counsel was recently appointed in this case. See August 31, 2018. Therefore, Plaintiff should discuss his concerns with counsel, and future motions in this case must be filed by counsel. In addition, it appears Plaintiff assumes or speculates that the Wardens are involved because officers assaulted him. Nonetheless, Defense counsel must file a response to Plaintiff's motion on or before Monday, September 17, 2018, indicating whether Plaintiff has received medical care.(SAG, ilcd) (Entered: 09/13/2018)" @default.
