- ilcd;;1:17-cv-01264_de152 RegisterActionDescriptionText "TEXT ORDER entered by Judge James E. Shadid on 1/7/2020. Plaintiff has three claims before the Court alleging Pontiac Correctional Center Defendants: used excessive force or failed to intervene to stop the use of force, walked him through the housing unit with his buttocks exposed, and left him handcuffed in a cell for 24 hours without an opportunity to remove the mace from his body. See August 27, 2018, Order. Defendants have filed a motion for summary judgment and Plaintiff has filed a response. Plaintiff has now filed a document entitled Motion of Information 109 . Plaintiff says he has been transferred to Menard Correctional Center and he repeatedly warned officials at both correctional centers that his life would be in danger at Menard. Plaintiff also says he has been denied medical care at Menard. The allegations in Plaintiff's motion are not related to the claims before this Court. Instead, Plaintiff's claims and Defendants involve only Pontiac Correctional Center and specific events which occurred in February of 2016 1 . Nonetheless, due to Plaintiff's concerns over his safety and medical condition, the Court will require Defense counsel to send a copy of Plaintiff's Motion of Information to both the Warden and the Internal Affairs Department at Menard Correctional Center. Defendants must file a Notice of Compliance within seven days. Plaintiff's motion is denied 109 . (SAG, ilcd) (Entered: 01/07/2020)" @default.
