Plaintiff's motion and applications are GRANTED, in that: (1) Defendants are directed to supplement their responses to plaintiff's Interrogatory # 6, noting any pre-incident contacts each defendant recalls having with plaintiff; (2) Defendants are directed to supplement their responses to plaintiff's Interrogatory # 18, noting the identify of any other correction officers present during the larger incident on 1/18/2015, which included the alleged assault of plaintiff following an altercation between several inmates; (3) In supplemental responses to plaintiff's document demand # 6 and # 7 (and related interrogatories # 11 and # 12), defendants are directed to make available for plaintiff's review (under supervision, if appropriate), documents (subject to appropriate security redactions) for the period from 1/2008 to 1/2015 reflecting (a) any founded or confirmed allegations of misconduct against a defendant from the files of DOCCS Office of Labor Relations, involving the use of improper or excessive force against an inmate, failure to intervene to protect an inmate from the use of force by others, or the making of false statements or reports involving inmates or (b) adult convictions for offenses involving the use of violence or dishonesty; (4) Defendants/DOCCS shall make available for plaintiff's review DOCCS Directive # 4944 regarding use of force, with security or relevance redactions, as appropriate; (5) Defendants are directed to provide plaintiff with a copy of the documents relating to plaintiff's grievance about the relevant incident, which was apparently filed at Upstate Correctional Facility. Plaintiff's motion to compel and other discovery applications are otherwise DENIED. The discovery deadline is extended to 11/26/2018. So Ordered by U.S. Magistrate Judge Andrew T.
