- cacd;;5:16-cv-01861_de64 RegisterActionDescriptionText "MINUTES (IN CHAMBERS) ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE by Magistrate Judge Steve Kim. Because nearly six months have passed since the Court granted Plaintiffs request to file a SAC, and Plaintiff has provided no good cause for another extension of time, Plaintiff is ORDERED TO SHOW CAUSE on or before June 11, 2018 why this case should not be dismissed for failure to obey court orders. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 41(b); Link v. Wabash R.R. Co., 370 U.S. 626, 629-30 (1962); Pagtalunan v. Galaza, 291 F.3d 639, 642 (9th Cir. 2002). Plaintiff may discharge this Order to Show Cause by filing a SAC consistent with the Courts December 12, 2017 order. The SAC should be filed using the attached Central District Civil Rights Complaint Form (CV-066), be complete in itself without reference to any prior pleadings, and bear the designation Second Amended Complaint along with the case number in this action. Failure to comply with this order may result in this action being dismissed involuntarily. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 41(b); L.R. 41-1. If Plaintiff no longer wishes to pursue this action, he may request voluntary dismissal at any time using the attached Notice of Voluntary Dismissal Form (CV-09). See Fed. R. Civ. P. 41(a). Plaintiffs request for an extension of time to file the SAC (ECF No. 61 ) is DENIED as moot. (SEE ORDER FOR DETAILS). (Attachments: # 1 Notice of Voluntary Dismissal CV-009) # 2 Civil Rights Complaint CV-66) (clee). (Entered: 05/09/2018)" @default.
