- flmd;;6:17-cv-00761_de35 RegisterActionDescriptionText "ORDER: As stated on the record during the May 18, 2016 teleconference with the Court, Plaintiff may seek jurisdictional discovery for the purpose of determining whether the Court has personal jurisdiction over Defendants in this action. Accordingly, written jurisdictional discovery must be completed no later than 45 days from the date of this order. Plaintiff may notice depositions limited to the issue of personal jurisdiction for a period of 15 days following the completion of written discovery. Because Plaintiff intends to argue that the Court has specific personal jurisdiction, the scope of discovery is limited to the sale and distribution of the accused products in this action. The parties are directed to submit a joint letter to the Court at the close of the discovery period set forth in this order, and no later than July 18, 2016, with a proposed briefing schedule for Defendants' motion to dismiss pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 12(b)(2) or (b)(3) or, in the alternative, to transfer venue pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1404(a). (Signed by Judge Gregory H. Woods on 5/18/2016) (kko) [Transferred from nysd on 4/27/2017.] (Entered: 05/18/2016)" @default.
