- ilcd;;1:16-cv-01149_de23 RegisterActionDescriptionText "TEXT ORDER- On September 22, 2016, the Court entered a merit review order dismissing some Defendants for failure to state a claim upon which relief could be granted. See September 22, 2016 Case Management Order. Plaintiff has now filed a motion asking to reinstate Wexford Health Sources because it employs the medical staff 15 As the Court explained, Wexford can only be held liable for deliberate indifference to a serious medical condition if the corporation had had a policy or practice that caused the violation. Woodward v Corr. Medical Serv. of Illinois, Inc., 368 F.3d 917, 927 (7th Cir. 2004). Furthermore, Plaintiff cannot sue an individual or corporation due to a supervisory role pursuant to 42 U.S.C.§1983. Plaintiff also says the Warden should be reinstated because he showed him his injury. However, this was not an allegation adequately made in Plaintiff's amended complaint. The motion is therefore denied. 16 Entered by Magistrate Judge Tom Schanzle-Haskins on 9/30/2016. (ME, ilcd) (Entered: 09/30/2016)" @default.
