- ilnd;;1:19-cv-02420_de16 RegisterActionDescriptionText "ORDER: Plaintiff was not granted leave to proceed in forma pauperis in this case and has paid in full the filing fee of $400. In a recent "response" he filed in eight cases, he submits that, due to deductions by a trust fund officer, he believes he has overpaid in one or more cases. 15 This case, however, was never subject to deductions by a trust fund officer and does not reflect any overpayment. Any request for relief therefore is denied. One final note: although the Court has permitted it so far in this case, it is improper and often creates unnecessary work for court staff when Plaintiff includes multiple case numbers at the top of a single pleading, which causes it to be docketed in all of the listed cases. This is particularly inappropriate when, as in Plaintiff's "response," it is clear that no more than two of the eight listed case numbers (the cases in which he was paying the fee in installments), might possibly be at issue. From this point on, each filing should list only one case number and have content specific to that case. Plaintiff is warned that any future filings including multiple case numbers will be stricken. A copy of this order shall be sent to Plaintiff. Signed by the Honorable John J. Tharp, Jr on 11/7/2019. Mailed notice (aee, ) (Entered: 11/07/2019)" @default.
