- ilnd;;1:19-cv-04900_de9 RegisterActionDescriptionText "ORDER: The order dated 02/13/2020 directed Plaintiff to notify the Court in writing of her current address if she wanted to proceed with this case. R. 7. The Court warned Plaintiff that failure to do so by 02/27/2020 would result in dismissal of this case for want of prosecution. To date, Plaintiff has not updated her address with the Court. Accordingly, the Court dismisses this case without prejudice. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 41(b); Dietz v. Bouldin, 136 S. Ct. 1885, 1891 (2016) (it "has long [been] recognized that a district court possesses inherent powers... to manage [its] own affairs so as to achieve the orderly and expeditious disposition of cases"). If Plaintiff seeks to proceed with this case, she must file a motion to vacate this order, seek reinstatement, provide reasons why she has not kept the Court apprised of her new address, and either pay the filing fee or submit another in forma pauperis application showing her current ability to pay. All pending motions are denied as moot. The Clerk is directed to send a copy of this order to: (1) Plaintiff's last-known address, as reflected on the docket; (2) Logan Correctional Center, where Plaintiff was housed under inmate number B-49616, in case the prison has a forwarding address for Plaintiff; and (3) 96 Ellen Drive, Lynwood, IL 60411, the home address Plaintiff provided at the time of filing. The status hearing of 03/13/2020 is vacated. A separate AO-450 judgment shall be entered. Civil case terminated. Signed by the Honorable Edmond E. Chang on 3/6/2020. Mailed notice (ec, ) (Entered: 03/09/2020)" @default.
