By agreement and consent of all the parties and pursuant to the CARES Act, all parties appeared by telephone conference. Defendant was taken into custody on January 11, 2021. Defendant appears in response to the Indictment filed on December 17, 2020. Defendant was informed of her rights, the nature of the charges and the maximum penalties. Defendant waived a formal reading of the Indictment and enters a plea of not guilty to all counts in the Indictment. The Government and Defendant agreed on certain conditions of release. The government expects to file a motion for a protective order, in light of the nature of the evidence, which defense counsel is reviewing. As agreed, Local Criminal Rule 16.1(a) conference shall occur by January 25, 2021. A schedule on pretrial motions will be set at the next status hearing. The Government's oral motion to unseal this case is hereby granted. The Clerk shall unseal the case and change the caption from USA v. Suppressed to USA v. A3C2B58. In the interest of justice and for the reasons stated on the record, time is hereby excluded until the next hearing pursuant to the provisions of the Speedy Trial Act, 18 USC § 3161(h)(7).
