- ilsd;;3:16-cv-00261_de109 RegisterActionDescriptionText "ORDER: This prisoner civil rights lawsuit currently is set for trial on March 18, 2019. All summary judgment motions have been ruled on, the discovery and dispositive motion filing deadlines have elapsed, and one motion in limine is pending --- Doc. 58 , a six-part motion filed by Defendants on April 18, 2018. The motion in limine was filed when trial was scheduled for June 18, 2018, and Plaintiff was proceeding pro se. He quickly moved to stay any ruling on the motion in limine (and his deadline to respond to the motion in limine) until counsel could be recruited for him herein. The Court partially finds moot and partially grants Plaintiff's motion to stay (Doc. 61 ). The motion to stay is moot in that Plaintiff has not been required to respond to the motion in limine and the Court has not ruled on the motion in limine. The motion to stay is granted in that the Court now sets a deadline for a response to the motion in limine. Counsel has entered for Plaintiff, and a settlement conference is scheduled before the undersigned District Judge tomorrow (December 5, 2018). The undersigned hopes the case may be resolved in the near future. If it is not, Plaintiff's response to Defendant's motion in limine (Doc. 58 ) shall be filed by February 19, 2019. Signed by Chief Judge Michael J. Reagan on 12/4/2018. (rah)THIS TEXT ENTRY IS AN ORDER OF THE COURT. NO FURTHER DOCUMENTATION WILL BE MAILED. (Entered: 12/04/2018)" @default.
