- W3118889641 abstract "This paper describes a practical yet systematic procedure for efficient tuning of missile autopilot control laws. The system nonlinear flight dynamics modeling is first recalled and then the corresponding linearized dynamics are obtained by additionally integrating aerodynamic uncertainty. A detailed discussion is then presented on how to specify various design specifications such as nominal and robust performance, loop shaping, disturbance rejection and robustness margins for any given design point. The autopilot gains are then optimized in order to fulfill the design specifications either point-by-point, leading to a posteriori gain scheduling of the controller gains, or for all design points simultaneously, stemming from a priori satisfaction of the controller gain surface parametrization. The control law robustness is also analyzed and simulation results are presented using the full nonlinear missile dynamics." @default.
