Discrete phase model (DPM) was used to describe the trajectory of the mist in the fluid domain. The numerical results presented in this investigation were in good correlation with the experimental results. The findings of this investigation demonstrated that the average temperature of the cutting tool was found to decrease with adding Al2O3 nanoparticles. Further, the results demonstrated that the temperature variation was significant in the vicinity of the tool tip compared to a faraway point. The compressed air pressure was found to have a profound effect on the temperature of the cutting tool. This study was an effort to determine the performance of the cutting tool using MQL based nanofluid and utilizing discrete phase model." @default.
