Por ultimo se ilustrala manipulacion de levaduras Saccharomyces cerevisiae mediante electrodos de platino queinducen en ellas elfenomeno de dielectroforesis comun. Thiswas carried out by presenting the physical principies which rule the movemeni ofelectricallyneutral partides when they are subjected to non-homogeneous electric fields, originafingphenomena such as common dielectrophoresis (DE?), traveling-wave dielectrophoresis (TWD)and electro-rotafion (ROT).
