- W104459780 abstract "Publisher SummaryThis chapter focuses on the practical performance for the developed cryogenic system, observing the liquefaction rate change to bring the inlet turbine condition close to the design condition. As a result, the liquefaction rate has been achieved to be 920 liter/h which is much higher than the design of 800 liter/h. The measured process data at the 920-1iter/h operation are substituted into the developed mass and heat balance calculation code, and the process performance can be estimated. Consequently, it is clear that the second turbine should have high efficiency and that the heat exchangers should have enough margin, as the reasons why the larger liquefaction capacity is achieved with the lower mass flow rate. However, it is also understood that there would be still feasible to increase the liquefaction capacity if the first turbine work would be increased to slightly open the second turbine control valve and the first turbine revolution would be increased by controlling a pressure drop in the blower brake circuit." @default.
