- W106321404 abstract "ARIAS GIRALDA, A., BOTE VELASCO, M. (1992): Estimacion del ataque y de las perdidas producidas por el «mosquito del trigo» (Mayetiola destructor Say) en el sureste de Badajoz. Bol. San. Veg. Plagas, 18 (1): 161-173. The attack and the losses produced by Mayetiola destructor Say. over an cereal surface of 60-70.000 Has in the SE of Badajoz province (Spain) are evaluated. At the fall generation the medium attack was 3,7 % of the wheat stems and 14,3 % in the barley. At the spring generation the medium attacks were 37,4 % and 36,3 % of the stems respectively. The maximum wheat losses were the 2,3 % of the stems in the fall generation, and the 13,1-23,7 % of the spikes, the 6,9 % of the grains in the spikes and the 2,2 % of the grain weight in the spring generation. The possibility of smaller losses by the oviposition selectivity of Mayetiola destructor for the youngest leafs in the son stems at the spring is discused." @default.
