Dans ces deux cas apparaissent des effets de taille de particule et un effet du support est observé à grande dispersion. Dans l'hydrogénolyse du méthylcyclopentane les petites particules de rhodium sont plus actives que les grandes si le support est la silice, alors que l'inverse est observé sur alumine. Dans l'étude de la thiorésistance, aucun effet de support n'est observé à faible dispersion et la silice, l'alumine ou le graphite donnent le měme résultat qui ne dépend que de la dispersion du rhodium. Par contre, à haute dispersion, un écart notable est observé puisque les catalyseurs Rh/SiO 2 se désactivent 4 fois plus vite que les Rh/Al 2 O 3 de měme dispersion. Cet effet du support est interprété par une modification structurale des particules de rhodium sur la silice. The catalytic properties of rhodium supported by either silica or alumina were investigated towards methylcyclopentane hydrogenolysis and poisoning of benzene hydrogenation by thiophene. In both cases a particle size effect is observed and support effects appear at high dispersions. Small particles of rhodium are more active than big particles for methylcyclopentane hydrogenolysis when silica is used as support but the reverse is true on alumina. Clear changes of selectivity are also observed. For thioresistance, no support effect is observed at low dispersion where similar results are obtained for alumina, silica or graphite as support. However a clear difference appears at high dispersion since Rh/SiO 2 then deactivate 4 times faster than Rh/Al 2 O 3 . This support effect is attributed to structural modifications occuring on silica supported rhodium particles." @default.
