- W1170758082 abstract "欧米よりも大幅に遅れて，日本でも2004年にようやく，一般市民によるAEDの使用が認められた．その後は予想を上回る勢いで普及が進み，市民用AEDの累積台数も2010年末には25万台を超えた．今や目撃された心原性心停止に現場の市民がAEDを用いて除細動すれば，45%の例が救命され，その85％が社会復帰できる時代になった．しかし見落としてならないのは，目撃された心原性心停止のうちAEDが実際に使用されたのは3%に過ぎず，残り97%はAEDによる恩恵にあずかれていないことである．AEDの絶対数がまだまだ足りないことに加え，政策的，戦略的な設置が進められていないことも問題である．またこれまでのところ，AED使用例の半数近くは現場にたまたま居合わせた医療･救急関係者が使用しており，素人の一般市民が気やすく使える救命具にはなりきっていない．特に実働部隊として期待される若者を巻き込むためには，学校での教師・学生･生徒が一体となって行う救命訓練や，短時間の指導で救命のエッセンスを体得できるCALL & PUSHと呼ばれる簡易蘇生法の普及推進が重要である．AEDの出現は，これまで医療職に頼っていた救命という最も尊い重要な治療を，非医療職にアウトソーシングした画期的なパラダイムシフトといえる．現場の市民の協力とAEDのさらなる活用によって，長年低迷していた院外心停止全体の救命率を改善できる見通しが開けてきた．" @default.
