- W1187432023 abstract "The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of drinking and exercise on a university students` scholarly attainment. The data were collected from 311 male and 241 female students at universities located within Gangwon Area between November and December in 2001. The results were as the follows； 1. About 79% of students(male；83.9%, female；73.1%) had using alcohol, and 15.4% of male and 11.2% of female engaged in heavy drinking, and 63.6% of male and 29.6% of female engaged in binge drinking. 2. About 41% of students(male；54%, female；23.7%) were participated in exercise, and in case of mode, 45.2% of male and 52.6% of female were participated in personal patterns. However, 33.3% of female and 14.3% of male had insufficient frequency of exercise. 3. In case of frequency and volume of drinking, exercise had positive tendency. 4. Scholarly attainment was almost not affected by volume of drinking, but frequency of drinking was significant inverse relationship with scholarly record. 5. In case of male students, exercise had any positive tendency to a scholarly record" @default.
