- W130279944 abstract "The paper deals with the solution of acoustico-elastic vibration and the stability analysis of curved pipes conveying fluid. The Ritz’s method with displacement function of curved beam is used for solving coupling vibration differential equations of the system as well as for determining the eigenvalues and associated modes. The stiffness ratio a and sectional characteristic ratio 7 between pipe and fluid are taken as influence parameters of eigenvalues. The first eigenvalue of curved pipes with three different subtented angles and jized at two ends are studied. The results show that the product c of a and 7 is an important factor that influencies the eigenvalues and stability of system. With increase of I, the eigenvalue curve of system decreases gradually after forming a plteau. This results in divergence of system finaly. For ezplicate the phenomenon of divergence of pipe, the distribution of modal energy of system is either studied.
