- W1417315124 abstract "YVO4:Ln3+ (Ln = Eu, Sm and Dy) nanoparticles were successfully synthesized via a fast and facile microwave method using NH4VO3 as vanadium source. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), UV/vis absorption and photoluminescence spectroscopies. SEM images indicate that the morphology and size of YVO4 products can be rationally modified by simply varying the pH value of solution or using different kinds of solvents. The uniform cuboid-like, spindle-like and olive-like YVO4:Eu3+ nanocrystalline were obtained in different mixed solvents and their photoluminescence intensity were compared. Apart from that, a series of time-dependent experiments were conducted, the result indicates that microwave heating played an important roles in synthesized of YVO4 samples. The luminescent properties of YVO4:Ln3+ phosphors were investigated in detail, and the optimum doping concentration of Ln3+ (Ln = Eu, Sm, Dy) in the YVO4 nanoparticles was 0.07, 0.06, 0.06, respectively." @default.
