- W1490098813 abstract "NMR is a well-established platform for the elucidation on a molecular level of chemical and physiochemical processes. It is not surprising that the pharmaceutical and drug discovery sector uses NMR as a novel technique for the understanding of protein conformation, ligand–protein binding sites, impurity assessment, and complex biological metabolic–drug interactions. Since the initial implementation of NMR in these research and development areas, there have been many technical advances in NMR spectroscopy hardware and experimental applications promoting growth in this particular area of research. High-throughput hardware has also enabled routine methods to be implemented across vast chemical possibilities to motivate comprehensive drug screening and interaction. This article highlights currently applied experimental methods and laboratory workflows in the pharmaceutical industry. Keywords:NMR;pharmaceutical RDMRS;metabolite;ligand" @default.
