Palabras clave: pseudoxantoma elastico, estrias angioides. Abstra ct Pseudoxantoma elasticum is an hereditary disorder of the connective tissue affecting the skin, retina and cardiovascular system. It is haracterized by progressive calcification of elastic fibers and massive accumulation of proteglicans in extracellular matrix. The clinical features and age of onset are variable. We report two cases of this entity in adult female patients with cutaneous and ocular involvement, both with a previous history of hepatitis C (Dermatol. Argent., 2012, 18(4): 286-290).
