- W1508872454 abstract "This paper is based on the multi-body dynamic coupling theory and finite element theory. A multi-body dynamic model of the slow-speed ship propulsion shafting system coupled with bearing hydrodynamic lubrication is built by Adams, Matlab and Ansys. The influence of hydrodynamic lubrication is mainly manifested in oil film pressure distribution and bearing reaction force. The oil film pressure distribution on the sliding bearing which is used to calculate the bearing reaction force is obtained based on the position and velocity of the shaft center by Matlab. The motion parameters of shaft center obtained from Adams verify the validity of simulation method and practicability of the model with hydro-bearings. By contracting with the simulation results of the bearing reaction forces, the simulation result obtained from the dynamic model of ship propulsion shafting coupled with bearing hydrodynamic lubrication is more reasonable which means it is necessary to consider the influence of oil film on simulation of ship propulsion shafting." @default.
