- W1518156714 abstract "Multi-stream aggregation (MSA) allows users to receive data from multiple base stations simultaneously to increase their data rates. In this paper, we propose a joint user association and resource allocation algorithm for MSA systems to achieve energy efficiency (EE) balance among different base stations. The problem is formulated as a non-convex combinatorial sum-of-ratios optimization problem, which is very hard to solve directly. We first relax the combinatorial variables and then transform the problem into a convex optimization problem by the sum-of-ratios algorithm and the successive convex approximation (SCA) method. Based on this, a near-optimal algorithm is developed. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve a good performance with a fast convergence speed." @default.
