Grammar is the set of rules supporting basiclanguage skills. It is important for students to learn about the rules and knowledgecomposing the structure and function of a language so that they can support other skills.Undoubtedly, the way of functional and permanent grammar teaching is firstly to explainabout the knowledge and rules of language and then to construct them. The presence ofsuch an understanding in grammar teaching is possible primarily through the presence of aTurkish Course Teaching Program prepared as based on constructivist approach and thepresence of teaching materials formed parallel to this. It is known that course books as ateaching material play an important role in having students acquire certain skills. At thispoint, it is obvious that there is a need to determine if course books possessing greatimportance were prepared in accordance with the constructivist approach. The presentstudy aimed to evaluate the 6th Grade Turkish Workbook, one of the Turkish teachingmaterials and expected to have been prepared in accordance with the constructivistapproach and still in use; it also aimed to determine the extent to which the variousactivities in grammar teaching area included in the book meet the requirements of theconstructivist approach" @default.
