- W1520352731 abstract "Marriage has always been approved as the most important and the supreme social custom to achieve all human needs. Increasing from day to day of couples conflicts and problems related to intimacy in current world and the risk of divorce emergence and its negative effect on mental health of couples and their children caused the consultants and especially those who work on families, provide theories and plans for couples who has problem and may getting divorced. The purpose of this study is to understand whether teaching and usage of reality therapy theory can increase and improve the couple's relationship. Design/methodology/approach – In this paper the researcher has studied required information according to the approach of Glaser reality therapy and her sample has chosen among the couples those who conferred to on of the famous consulting centre in Iran. A sample group of twenty couples have been chosen after a specific survey. Findings – There are five finding in the research. First, the usage of methods of Glaser Therapy theory is not effective in couple's intimacy. Second, the methods of Glaser couple therapy are effective on self sacrifice. Third, the couple therapy is not effective on couple's satisfaction. Fourth, the reality therapy is not effective on couples love and sentiment. Fifth the Glaser's couples therapy is not effective on compatibility." @default.
