Jahrhundert mit einer wochentlichen Symptomenpravalenz bei 20% der westlichen Bevolkerung eine der haufigsten chronischen Erkrankungen der Welt dar. In dieser Arbeit wurden vollstandige Daten von 100 Patienten nach laparoskopischer Fundoplicatio am Universitatsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf erhoben. Anhand von Fragebogen wurde die subjektive Lebensqualitat (LQ) zu drei Zeitpunkten ermittelt und ausgewertet: praoperativ (LQ1), 5 Jahre postoperativ (LQ2) und 7-10 Jahre postoperativ (LQ3). Symptomen wie Sodbrennen, Regurgitation und Einschrankungen der Alltags- sowie Sozialaktivitaten wurden spezifische Lebensqualitatspunktwerte zugeschrieben und hieraus die entsprechenden Lebensqualitaten errechnet.5 Jahre nach der Operation zeigte sich unabhangig von der Operationsmethode eine durchschnittlich gestiegene Lebensqualitat beim Patientenkollektiv. Bei einer Nissen-Rosetti Fundoplicatio konnte eine auch langfristig, 7-10 Jahre postoperativ, gute Lebensqualitat nachgewiesen werden. Im Hinblick auf eine Einflussnahme dieses postoperativen Outcomes, zeigte sich einzig Nikotinabusus statistisch signifikant. Nichtrauchende Patienten zeigten nach einer Fundoplicatio nach Nissen-Rosetti eine signifikant langfristig verbesserte Lebensqualitat und profitierten somit bewiesenermasen von dieser Therapiemethode. Bei rauchenden Patienten konnte kein signifikanter Therapieerfolg mit Verbesserung der Lebensqualitat beobachtet werden.Die laparoskopische Fundoplicatio, insbesondere nach Nissen-Rosetti, stellt heutzutage bei gastroosophagealen Refluxpatienten in der Fachliteratur und unserer Arbeit eine erfolgreiche Therapiemethode mit mittel- bis langfristiger Refluxkontrolle, guten postoperativen Ergebnissen und geringen Nebenwirkungsraten dar. Insbesondere nichtrauchende Patienten scheinen von dieser Therapie auch langfristig zu profitieren. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is one of the most common diseases of the western world in the 21st century. Aproximately 20% of the western population suffers from symptoms related to this disease on a weekly basis. In this statistical dissertation project, data from 100 patients undergoing treatment in the university hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf in Germany by Nissen-Rosetti or Toupet laparoscopic fundoplicatio was collected using questionnaires at three times: in the pre-operative period (LQ 1) and two times post-operatively: 5 years and 7-10 years postoperatively (LQ 2 and 3). Symptoms such as reflux, regurgitation and limitations of every-day-life and social activities were given a certain amount of life quality points in order to calculate the life quality. 5 years post-operatively, patients experienced an overall increase in life quality. 7-10 years postoperatively, a still good life quality was shown. Smoking, when absent, was the only statistical significant parameter to show a positive outcome of life quality after GERD therapy with fundoplication. In smokers, no statistical sagnificant improvement in life quality could be proven. Laparocopic fundoplication, especially by Nissen-Rosetti, nowadays is a sufficient therapy method with medium- to long-term reflux control in patients with GERD.
