- W1538800142 abstract "This chapter on high speed buffers in complementary SiGe and CMOS technologies studies three different buffer application areas, that is PA-driving, balun buffers, and finally LNAs. The underlaying idea of this text is to point out the benefits obtainable from the application of complementary analog signal processing techniques. More specifically, the text will study applications of the inverter-like continuously biased current-reuse stage in different buffering purposes. One implementation example is shown in the attached Fig. 1, where a continuously current-biased gain cell uses the complementary PMOS to generate extra transconductance. A challenge for microwave applications of this current-reuse cell is to find ways to deal with the added parasitic capacitance associated with the complementary device." @default.
