A total sample of 106 preschools throughoutthe region completed research questionnaires. The results of the data analysis show thatwhile preschool English teaching in the Region is now well established, there are stillcertain areas which should be highlighted for improvement. Specific issues in need offurther attention include the strengthening of teacher training for this age range and theextensive use of textbooks written by British rather than local publishers" @default.
