- W1544294491 abstract "A new source for the experimental study of ions at low temperatures (1–50 K) has been developed. It is based on a combination of two experimental methods which we have previously described: (1) the production of large concentrations of molecular ions in magnetically lengthened negative glow discharges, and (2) the collisional cooling of condensable spectroscopically active molecules to cryogenic temperatures.
