- W1546326895 abstract "Recent trends of development in the field of nanotechnology leads to minimize power dissipation of electronic circuits and code converters which are widely used in design of digital systems to reduce complexity of logical and arithmetical operations and thereby reducing circuit complexity. Applications of Reversible Logic Technology are getting momentum due to low power dissipation and consumption. In this paper, design of three gates namely Dwivedi - Rao Gate-1 (DRG-1), Dwivedi - Rao Gate-2 (DRG-2) and Dwivedi - Rao Gate-3 (DRG-3) have been proposed. Designed gate DRG-1 and DRG-2 have been applied for Binary to Gray and Gray to Binary Code Conversion respectively. It has also been shown that DRG-3 performs BCD to Excess-3 conversion and vice versa along arithmetical operations. Finally code converters have been simulated on VHDL and it has been found to have minimum garbage. Proposed code converters have been found to have reduced hardware complexity and garbage outputs besides optimized parameters." @default.
