Com base na literatura especializada, este artigo considera a relacao dos trabalhos qualificado e nao qualificado e a evolucao do nivel de emprego nos diferentes tipos de empresas que operam no territorio chines, destacando as de propriedade estatal e as privadas. Discutem-se, ainda, as caracteristicas do desemprego na China, os problemas relacionados as estatisticas oficiais e a questao da produtividade do maior contingente de mao de obra do mundo. Thus, it is important to investigate the characteristics of China's labor demand and discuss its productivity and the existence of unemployment in the country. Based on the specialized literature, this paper focuses on the relationship between skilled labor and unskilled labor and on the evolution of the level of employment in the different types of companies which operate in the Chinese territory, highlighting the role of the state-owned and the private enterprises. We also discuss the characteristics of unemployment in China, the problems related to the official statistics and the issues surrounding the productivity in the world’s largest labor market.
