- W1566288477 abstract "This study explores the utility of Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences (MI)theory, as a theoretical basis for the development of new innovative tools forvocational guidance. A qualitative assessment of intelligences by means of thelifeline in the personal interview is proposed for determining the MI profile. Thelifeline allows a detailed analysis of the development in each intelligence, identifying enhancer contexts, and stun and crystallizing experiences in thedevelopment of each intelligence. With the aim of certifying its utility, qualitativeevaluation by means of the lifeline, is contrasted with the results of the quantitativeassessment using Multiple Intelligences Assessment Evolutionary Scales (MIDAS)of Branton Shearer. The evaluation of MI, is complemented by the assessment ofpersonality typology oriented by John Holland’s RIASEC model, with the purposeof building a complete vocational identity. The correspondence between RIASECtypes and IM is also explored. As practical proposal, the creation of a vocationalguidance course is proposed, in which the self-knowledge process and the information process about the different academic pathways, are carried out fromthe point of view of the IM theory." @default.
