- W1567787482 abstract "The main objective of this study was to describe the implementation ofinstructional supervision done by the principal and supervisors at State SeniorHigh School Number 2 Lubuklinggau City. While the specific objective was todescribe deeply about (1) planning of supervision program done by the principaland supervisors, (2) the technique of instructional supervision, (3) the suitabilityof instructional supervision technique (4) the evaluation of instructionalsupervision and, (5) the feed back towards the result of the principle andsupervisor’s instructional supervision, (6) factors supported and inhibited theimplementation of instructional supervision. The school principle, supervisorcoordinator, supervisors, instructional and students were the subjects of this study.The data were colleted by using a set of technique : observation interview, anddocumentation. The data then were analyzed by descriptive qualitative method.Generally, the result showed that the implementation of instructional supervisiondone by the principal and the supervisor’s hadn’t been done based on the guidanceof instructional supervision. Specifically, this investigation found that (1) theprincipal didn’t make the supervision program completely, while the supervisorsdid, but its implementation hadn’t been yet done optimally, (2) the instructionalsupervision technique implemented by the principle where teacher’s meeting,classroom visit, group discussion, individual talking, the send the teachers to jointrainee, workshop and seminar, while supervisions technique done by thesupervisors where teacher’s meeting, individual talking, and class room visit, (3)the principal and supervisors implemented supervision technique where based onthe teachers’ characteristics but it wasn’t done based on the teachercharacteristics, (4) the principal and supervisor hadn’t been yet done theevaluation of instructional supervision program, (5) the teachers had done the feedback of supervision program result, and (6) there was a number of inhibition inimplementing instructional supervision done by the principle of State Senior HighSchool Number 2 Lubuklinggau ax well as the supervision themselves ; and theywere use very complicated indeed" @default.
