In order to analyze this subject it was proposed a model of the organizational cultures map based on the causative factors as indicators of belonging the given organizational culture to one of the selected types. As the result of the researches the mining culture was defined as a clique culture with elements of the profession culture. In addition, it was described as partly the culture of creators and the culture of quality. Comparative studies show that some elements of the culture of mining organizations have not changed.
