Pada node-node yang bergerak akan terjadi pembangunan dan pemutusan hubungan antar link di dalam suatu jaringan atau dengan jaringan yang lain. Oleh karena itu setiap node mempunyai fungsi routing untuk mengirimkan paket dari sumber ke tujuan melalui node lain. Routing diperlukan untuk pemilihan jalur pengiriman data, beberapa jenis routing yaitu PUMA (Protocol for Unified Multicasting through Announcement), AODV (Ad Hoc On Demand Distant Vector). Berdasarkan implementasi MANET, pada penelitian ini dilakukan simulasi untuk menganalisis kinerja routing protokol PUMA pada jaringan MANET dengan cara mensimulasikannya menggunakan Network Simulator 2 (NS2). Dalam pengujiannya skenario yang akan digunakan variasi jumlah node, yaitu 25 node, 50 node, 75 node, dan 100 node dan sumber traffic yang digunakan CBR (Constant bit rate). Untuk penilaian kinerja jaringan menggunakan parameter-parameter Quality of Service (QoS), seperti throughput, PDR (Packet Delivery Ratio) dan waktu tunda (delay). Dari hasil simulasi kinerja routing PUMA pada jaringan MANET menghasilkan nilai throughput tertinggi pada skenario pertama 933,607 Kbps dengan 25 node. Hasil dari simulasi PUMA menghasilkan nilai waktu tunda terendah pada skenario pertama 7,598 detik dengan 25 node. Hasil dari simulasi PUMA menghasilkan nilai PDR tertinggi pada skenario pertama 4,655 dengan 25 node. Kata Kunci : PUMA , MANET , NS-2 , QoS Abstract Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a wireless adhoc network where each nodes free to move independently without requiring a fixed infrastructure. There will be setting up and termination of inter-link in a network or with other networks. Therefore each node must have a routing function to connect with other nodes to send packet from source to destination. Routing is needed for rute selection, some example of routing are Protocol for Unified Multicasting through Announcement), AODV (Ad Hoc On Demand Distant Vector). Based on MANET implementation, the research maked network simulation to analyzes the performance of PUMA routing protocol in MANET networks in a way simulate it using Network Simulator 2 (NS2). In the testing scenario will be used variations node number, ie 25 nodes, 50 nodes, 75 nodes, and 100 nodes and used traffic source CBR (Conctant bit rate). The values of performance QoS (Quality of Service) wireless network uses three parameters such as throughput, packet delivery ratio(PDR) and delay. From the simulation PUMA routing performance in the MANET network produces best throughput value 933,607 Kbps at first scenario with 25 node. Results from PUMA simulation produces best delay value 7.598 seconds at first scenario with 25 node. Results from PUMA simulation produces best PDR value 4,655 at first scenario with 25 node .
