Even though no phase changes were observed after the ball milling process the phases of W 2 C and<mml:math xmlns:mml=http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML id=M1><mml:mrow><mml:msub><mml:mrow><mml:mtext>WC</mml:mtext></mml:mrow><mml:mrow><mml:mn>1</mml:mn><mml:mo>-</mml:mo><mml:mi>x</mml:mi></mml:mrow></mml:msub></mml:mrow></mml:math>appeared in all sintered samples after sintering. The Vickers hardness and fracture toughness of the WC, WC-3 wt% Ni, WC-3 wt% Co, and WC-3 wt% Fe samples ranged from 2,240 kg mm 2 to 2,730 kg mm 2 and from 6.3 MPa·m 1/2 to 9.1 MPa·m 1/2 , respectively." @default.
