- W1620979891 abstract "Abstract This paper presents after a bibliographic review our own results on adsorption of acetylene and ethylene on rhenium films between 200 and 373 K. Ethylene and actylene are adsorbed ith ethane and hydrogen desorption at 200 K and only hydrogen desorption above 300 K. On an initially bare surface, hydrogen and ethane appear in the gas phase after the same induction period which disappears for hydrogen if the surface is presaturated with hydrogen. Sticking coefficient curves versus carbon coverage depend on temperature and initial hydrogen atoms concentration. Ethane production in quasistationary conditions proceeds only on ethylene covered films with a rate independent on ethylene pressure and proportional to hydrogen pressure." @default.
