- W1621711682 abstract "In the BiSAR (Bistatic Synthetic Aperture Radar) system, two-dimensional (2-D) resolution distribution of a scene varies with the bistatic configuration. Actually, the 2-D resolution characteristics determine the system imaging ability for a certain scene in essence, despite what signal processing procedure will be used. A bistatic configuration with a stationary receiver and a side-looking vehicle-borne transmitter has been designed for through wall imaging in this paper. In order to determine the BiSAR configuration under which best images can be achieved, 2-D resolution formulations of the bistatic through wall SAR scene are deuced. Imagings under different geometric parameter are simulated, and it is found out that the bistatic angle affects the imaging ability mostly. Simulation results validate the correctness of the analysis and it can be a valuable guidance for bistatic through wall SAR configuration." @default.
