Polarons may play a major role in the metallic compound of ${mathrm{LaSrNiO}}_{4}.$ These results corroborate a recent thermal conductivity study of rare earth doped ${mathrm{La}}_{2ensuremath{-}x}{mathrm{Sr}}_{x}{mathrm{CuO}}_{4}$ which reveals the possible importance of dynamic stripe correlations on cuprate superconductivity." @default.
