- W1632020596 abstract "The experimental device used to explore the dynamical behavior of inhalable particles, PM2.5, was set up by means of a visualization method based on a microscope and pulsed laser illumination. The aerosol generator based on the principle of fluidization bed generated inhalabel particles, emitted from a coal‐fired power plant. Trajectories and shapes of the particles in the acoustic wave field were visualized and recorded by a high‐rate CCD camera. The image recorded the details of particle motion, which showed that the trajectories of particles in an acoustic wave field swept much greater area because of the acoustic entrainment in comparison with the particulate trajectories under without acoustic excitation. From the images of particles illuminated by pulse laser, the single particles could be distinguished form the aggregates. Moreover three ways to determine the size of an observed object was introduced which made it possible to study the quantificational dynamic behaviors of an observed particle. It was found that to fine particle the way based on acoustic entrainment was the most reliable among these three ways." @default.
