W165230549 abstract "The controlled nanocrystallization of as-milled glassy ${mathrm{Pr}}_{40}{mathrm{Fe}}_{30}{mathrm{Co}}_{15}{mathrm{Al}}_{10}{mathrm{B}}_{5}$ leads to a Curie temperature of $625phantom{rule{0.3em}{0ex}}mathrm{K}$, a magnetic remanence ratio of 0.55, and a very high coercivity of $29phantom{rule{0.3em}{0ex}}mathrm{kOe}$, after annealing at $800ifmmode^circelsetextdegreefi{}mathrm{C}$. X-ray diffraction, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, magnetization measurements, and Mossbauer spectroscopy reveal the presence of ferromagnetic (F) ${mathrm{Pr}}_{2}{(mathrm{Fe},mathrm{Co},mathrm{Al})}_{14}mathrm{B}$ crystallites coexisting with antiferromagnetic (AF) ${mathrm{Pr}}_{6}{(mathrm{Fe},mathrm{Co},mathrm{Al})}_{14}$ ones and amorphous areas. The high coercivity is explained by several effects: the exchange coupling F-AF, a low dipolar interaction, and a low value of the effective demagnetizing factor." @default.
