The research methodology is a qualitative one and has been conducted through formal structured interviews with a group of students who have been acting as group leaders in Global IT Management course. Based upon the results coming from interviewing 7 out of 15 group leaders plus two additional interviews with students that were not group leaders we have found that the team project is enhancing their knowledge, is an assessment method better than a classic written exam and the students’ perception about the impact of the team project upon their learning is positive.
