- W167803255 abstract "As the interactional nature of educational processes is increasingly noted, it is of invaluable pedagogical interest to consider the sociological research carried out with respect to social interaction. This has only barely been incorporated to the studies of a Vygotskian orientation. Within this perspective, we take into account the analysis of Ervin Goffman, his sociology devoted to the study of interaction, his different approaches and conceptualisations, the initial dramatic model, as well as the subsequent interpretations, which highlight the crucial mechanisms of face maintenance and defence. Finally, suggestions are given regarding the possible applications of this in educational settings, resorting to various studies, fundamentally of an ethnographic nature." @default.
